Happy New Year!

Hey beaders and knitters!

What are your new year's resolutions for 2011? I'm going to work on my book on the basics of beading. I think I'm also going to try to knit more instead of crocheting all of my yarn projects. Hold me to it!

On January 6th, registration opened for the 10th annual Bead Fest Philly. The Bead Place is honored to have two of our classes at the Fest this year! Now it's definitely a great experience to go check out all the cool demos and classes, not to mention the huge floor of vendors, but we understand that some of you will be busy in August. ;) You can still take any of our awesome classes HERE in 2011. Check out the website or the Facebook page to see all the new ones we're offering!

Well, stop in to see us, plus all the great new stuff in the store! Lots of new colors of yarn are on the way, not to mention seed beads.

I'm actually on my way to Port Canaveral to leave for the cruise we were asked to teach on, so I actually have time to blog, ha! I'm going to be showing Viking Knit, Russian Spiral, and a cute little beaded starfish. Wish me safe travels! Hopefully all the cool new colors of everything are still there when I get back so I don't miss out on the fun.
